Notre Dame Overrated?
After seeing some negative comments from the panel regarding the upcoming Notre Dame vs. Georgia Tech game, I thought I might post a link to this article from Fox Sports. I personally am not a fan of Notre Dame, and I was quite proud that we beat them in the Fiesta Bowl. Do I think Charlie Weis as a head coach is overrated, yes. I need to see him coach and recruit for a few more years. I don't follow the NFL, but even I know that he was a great offensive coordinator. However, no matter what Brady Quinn does this year, remember that Quinn along with almost all of the returning starters were recruited by Tyrone Willingham, not Weis. If, I should say when, Notre Dame loses this year, and an Irish fan defends themselves by saying ND plays a difficult schedule, remind them they are not in a conference so they should blame their own athletic director. The game at Georgia Tech this Saturday will give us some idea of what to expect from the Irish this season.
