OSU Bball Faces Tough Schedule
Even though we are excited about football, Thad Matta's latest recruiting class has raised expectations for the basketball team. For the first time in years the team will play a decent non-conference schedule, which includes a game at North Carolina, Iowa State in Columbus, a game at defending champion Florida, one with Cincinnati, and Tennessee in Columbus. Those games are enough of a challenge for what is expected to be one of the most talented teams OSU has ever had. Unfortunately the Big Ten has made things even more difficult by scheduling OSU's home opener with Indiana, and then the Bucks hit the road for games at Illinois and Wisconsin, two of the more difficult places to play. This will be an exciting team, and if OSU can win most of those high profile matchups, there will be high expectations for the post season. Here is 2006-2007 schedule.
