Things to Watch

Injury Update
OSU had a slew of injuries last week. Out on special teams and defense are Donnie Evege, Travis Howard, and Dorian Bell. Evege hurt his elbow and will be out two or three weeks. Howard and Bell had less serious shoulder injuries and will miss one or two weeks. Dominic Clark and Corey "Pittsburgh" Brown will step up to take the open spots. LB Andrew Sweat will play after missing last week.
Player to Watch
Everyone is complaining about Brandon Saine, thinking that the running game has taken a step back from last year. Coming into this season it was clear that it was running by committee, and not because there were no dominant RB's. Many schools do RB by committee when they don't have one good back, and instead OSU has four to five guys that could start at many Division I-A schools. This is a good problem. For what it is worth, OSU still lists "Saine OR Herron" on the depth chart. OSU's offense has changed this season and it is passing much more, but in games like this week you will see some big numbers from the RB's. Don't forget that Pryor is a great runner. That being said, it would be nice to see Saine line-up more at receiver. Do you remember that TD against Miami?
Brutus vs. Swoop the Eagle
Brutus is recovering after last week, and he even made it into Tressel's press conference this week. I placed a link to the YouTube video on the blog. I think Brutus held his own and will be ready for Swoop the Eagle.
