No Letdown
I don't think there is a reason to fear a letdown like the Navy game last year, or the YSU game two years ago. Moving this game to Thursday night not only will allow more time to prepare for Miami, but it also gets the attention of the players. Secondly, this is a team filled with seniors that won't let the team come slowly out of the gates.
Tressel Wants Pryor to Pass
Despite what many folks claim, OSU has a large playbook and Tressel would love to have Pryor air it out if Pryor is ready for that. Tressel has shown in the past at YSU and OSU that he is willing to let his QB pass the ball when the interceptions are kept to a minimal. It also helps that OSU is loaded in the running game, and an effective running game will open up the passing game.
Predictions
The running game may have a slow start if Marshall's D-Line is as good as promised. I still think OSU should get 175-200 yards on the ground. Look for TE Stonebrunner and FB Boren to get some passes thrown their direction. Remember the name "Philly" Brown as he will be a freshman making a big impact this season as a receiver and returner. OSU should be able to pass against Marshall, because Marshall is weak in the secondary. OSU should get 190-210 yards in the air. The final score will be 34-10.
